Where quality takes centre stage

Clarity before commitment.

We identify the cause, record the evidence and define the required work before you commit.

Three divisions

One company, three ways we deliver

Every division works to the same discipline: assess it properly, define the scope in writing, deliver it, and keep the record.

Groundworks & structures

Civils

Assess the site. Define the scope. Control the delivery.

Deep drainage, foundations, underpinning, reinforced slabs and associated groundworks, delivered to a defined scope.

Specialist surveys & remedial works

Damp & Mould Specialists

Find the cause. Evidence it properly. Fix it properly.

Cause-led surveys, measured findings and properly specified remedial works—including basement waterproofing, tanking and pump systems.

Diagnosis before remedy

Measured readings and fabric inspection establish the cause before any work is specified.

Evidence before opinion

Every survey produces a dated, indexed photographic record. We report the building findings and let the evidence establish the position.

Defined scope, then price

Once the findings are reviewed you receive a defined specification and a clear quotation.

A few short questions. Damp and mould enquiries return the survey type, what is included and an indicative survey fee range. Civils and construction enquiries return the next steps; scope and price follow assessment.

Awaab's Law — the timescales

Awaab's Law applies to social housing in England. The duty depends on how the hazard is classified, not on the fact that mould has been reported.

  • Emergency hazards — investigated and made safe within 24 hours.
  • Significant damp and mould — investigated within 10 working days, made safe within 5 working days of the investigation concluding.
  • A written summary is generally required within 3 working days of the investigation concluding.

Making a home safe is not the same as completing every repair. Private landlords and commercial owners fall outside Awaab's Law, though other repairing and fitness duties still apply.

Our role is practical: inspect the building, record the findings and set out a defined specification — and carry out the remedial works where we are instructed. The evidence establishes the position.

What we measure on every survey

  • Surface and deep moisture readings, room by room
  • Relative humidity, air and surface temperature, dew point differential
  • Ventilation performance and extract airflow where fitted
  • External fabric review — rainwater goods, pointing, thresholds, seals
  • Photographic evidence indexed to each finding
