Where quality takes centre stage
Limelight Services Ltd surveys and resolves damp and mould in homes and commercial buildings across London & the South East. We work for homeowners and tenants, private landlords, social housing providers and property managers.
How we work
Most damp and mould problems we attend have been treated before — usually painted over, sometimes chemically injected, occasionally blamed entirely on the way people live. Very few had been properly diagnosed first.
So our model is deliberately sequenced: a paid survey with an indicative fee agreed in writing, a written diagnosis with the evidence attached, then an itemised fixed-price quotation for the works that the diagnosis actually justifies. If the answer is a £180 extract fan rather than a £6,000 tanking job, that is what the report will say.
What we don't do
We don't publish remedial prices before we have seen a property. We don't quote works from photographs alone. And we make no accreditation or membership claims on this website — if a scheme or qualification is relevant to your procurement, ask us directly and we will answer precisely.
Coverage
We survey across London and the South East, with surveyors covering north and east London, south London and Kent, and west London and Surrey. Weekday appointments are offered in two-hour windows; out-of-hours attendance can be arranged for occupied commercial space.
Diagnosis before remedy
We would rather spend an extra hour on site than sell the wrong fix. Every recommendation traces back to something we measured.
Evidence before opinion
Readings, photographs and dates. If we say a wall is wet, the report shows where, how wet, and what we think is putting water there.
Straight with residents
Damp cases are stressful and often contested. We report on the building, explain findings in plain language, and avoid blaming households by default.
One standard of work
